Mary, a Boston-area native, joined Civica in 2019 and has 18 years of experience in planning and executing successful conferences and trade shows for various organizations based in Denver, San Diego and Washington, D.C. Mary is passionate about creating memorable and impactful experiences for attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. She is responsible for managing Civica’s conference team. Mary has a BA in English with an emphasis in Communications from Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island.
Favorite Civica Value: Courage. It takes courage to step out of your comfort zone, take risks, and advocate. If exercised, it can lead to bold moves, that over time become more comfortable to make, resulting in organizational success, gained leadership skills, and personal growth.
Favorite Vacation Spot: The beach. Wait, the mountains...wait, the beach. Yes, the beach (with a margarita - spicy, on the rocks, with salt)
What I like to do in my off hours: I love gardening - flowers and vegetables, trail walks with our dog, and running to release stress. I am excited to run my first marathon in 2023! Podcasts, books, and tv binges are in my weekly rotation.
