Tara started her career working in the Admissions Office at her alma mater, Western State College, in Gunnison, CO. She studied English Education and Outdoor Leadership Instruction, and had intended to become a middle school English teacher. After spending almost 10 years working in college admissions, she transitioned to non-profit management in order to be home more with her 3 kids. Once the kids were a little older, it was time for her to find a new challenge and then she had the opportunity to begin working at Civica.

Favorite Civica Value: Selflessness -Thinking of others' needs before your own can be difficult to do, but it's something that I believe we should all strive for. We have such an incredible team at Civica, and I'm continually grateful for the selflessness shown by so many.
Favorite Vacation Spot: Disney! Or any beach.
What I like to do in my off hours: Run, cook, read, spend time with my family!
